What else do I need to run the STARTGATE PRO?
- A 12 volt battery
- Either an electro magnet or an Air Ram with compressor
- A wooden or metal start Ramp
Which is better, Electro Magnet or Air Ram?
The magnet is a simpler option as a compressor is not needed, this makes this a cheaper option.
Where can I get an Electromagnet from?
If you require an electromagnet to go with the STARTGATE PRO, we can provide this for an additional £30 (plus postage) This magnet has a holding force of 550N (approx. 55kg), which is enough to hold back the gate and the rider. If you want to use the system with a 2 man gate, please contact us and we will be happy to provide a quote for supplying a larger magnet.
How can I buy a STARTGATE PRO?
Here on this website - Simply go to the ‘Buy Now’ page, then select either UK, Europe or Worldwide and Press the PayPal button. PayPal now except all major credit and debit cards as well as payment direct from a PayPal account. Once payment has been released by PayPal to us we will ship your package, this is usually instantly, unless you have to use PayPal’s e-cheque facility.

I don’t live in the UK, can you post anywhere in the world?
For an extra £10 - £25 we will post anywhere in the world, so far we have posted to Belgium, Australia, New Zealand, America, Canada even Ecuador! Packages are sent International Signed for, once your order is dispatched we will email you a tracking number, generally packages take about 5-10 working days but this cannot be guaranteed.
Do you have any overseas distributors I can buy your STARTGATE PRO from?

Why don’t you provide the STARTGATE PRO with everything you need?
It is expensive to post the start ramp and it is not something we make ourselves, however we are looking for suppliers of the start ramp so everything can be ordered through our website. If you are interested in supplying ramps to our customers please email: stacey@startgatepro.com

What size Gate will the STARTGATE PRO fit to?
The StartGate Pro can fit to a 1, 2, 4, or even 8 man gate, although the electromagnet that we have on our purchase page would only hold 1 man, however we can provide the Startgate Pro with a larger electromagnet, please email: stacey@startgatepro.com
Can I connect 1 STARTGATE PRO to 2 gates?
Yes it is possible to connect 2 gates (with electromagnets) to 1 STARTGATE PRO, but you need to be careful and follow this diagram, otherwise you could damage the STARTGATE PRO.
I have an original STARTGATE PRO, can I upgrade it to the new version with the voice?
Yes, we designed the original version so we could simply replace the circuit board for the new version. If you wish to send your unit back to us for upgrading it will cost £35 plus postage, (£10 – £25 depending where in the world we need to return your upgraded unit) please email: stacey@startgatepro.com for an exact price and details on how to order.
Repairs
In the unlikely event your STARTGATE PRO stops working, it is often something simple like the fuse is blown, so please email: stacey@startgatepro.com and we will help diagnose the problem and get it fixed at a reasonable price.
