STARTGATE PRO can be used with any professional or homemade start gate, and uses a simple one-button operation. All that is required to power STARTGATE PRO is a 12-volt power supply (ie. a car battery).
To make this an affordable product for more riders to use, there is no voice saying “Riders ready, Watch the gate”, instead this has been replaced with a series of tones. All times in the system meet with the UCI Cycling regulations.

If you want an electromagnet to go with the system, we recommend using one from the company www.rs-online.com. The part number for the magnet is
346-081 and you will also need an armature plate 346-132. This magnet has a holding force of 520N (approx. 52kg), which is enough to hold back the gate and the rider.
